Gaylord Hotels Names Hayat Pronovost

Gaylord Hotels today announced Hayat Pronovost has been named director of national accounts. Pronovost will also be responsible for continued development of national accounts for the upscale Gaylord Hotels brand in the midwestern United States.


“Hayat’s extensive hospitality and meeting planning experience will be a tremendous asset to our hospitality team,” said Randy Miller, senior vice president of sales for Gaylord Hotels. “As we ready to open our third luxurious Gaylord Hotel - Gaylord Opryland Texas in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex - in April 2004, Hayat will focus on solidifying relationships with our customers and growing our customer base in the Midwest.

Pronovost joins Gaylord Hotels from Hinton & Grusich, Chicago, Ill., where she was national sales manager for more than 500 corporate, association and third-party accounts. Prior to that, she served as a convention coordinator for Smith, Bucklin & Associates in Chicago, Ill. Pronovost received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champagne. She currently serves as chairman for the MPI-CAC Mentoring Program.
