Choice Hotels International, Inc., (NYSE:CHH) today announced it will hold its Annual Meeting of Stockholders on Monday, April 28, 2003, at 9:00 a.m. Eastern time at the Choice Hotels Learning Center, 10720 Columbia Pike, Silver Spring, Md.

The record date for the determination of stockholders entitled to receive notice of and vote at the meeting was March 10, 2003. On the meeting agenda are the election of three Class III directors to hold office for a three-year term ending at the 2006 Annual Meeting of Stockholders, approval of an amendment to the Non-Employee Director Stock Option and Deferred Compensation Stock Purchase Plan, and other business that properly comes before the meeting.
Nominees for director this year are Barbara Bainum, Charles A. Ledsinger, Jr., and Larry R. Levitan.
