New Clarion Hotel Anaheim

The Clarion Hotel Anaheim Resort, located just two blocks south of Disneyland Park and adjacent to the Anaheim Convention Center, opened March 14. The 284-guestroom, full-service hotel, which is owned and operated by Sunburst Hospitality, formerly operated as the Quality Hotel MainGate.

The Clarion Hotel Anaheim Resort is set in the heart of Anaheim`s entertainment and convention center district, which recently completed a $6.5 million renovation. The hotel features nine stories, extensive meeting facilities, two restaurants, a lounge, gift shop, outdoor heated swimming pool, deck and seasonal cabana bar.

A seven-time Gold Award Winner, the Clarion Hotel Anaheim Resort features guestrooms and studio suites. Each guestroom features one king or two double size beds, a remote-control cable television, hair dryer, tea/coffee maker, iron, ironing board, in-room safe, Nintendo, and telephone with data ports. Each studio suite features a refrigerator and microwave oven, two double or one king size bed and sofa bed. Non-smoking rooms and rooms for individuals with disabilities are also available.

“The property is perfectly positioned to serve both business and leisure travelers,” according to General Manager Jeff Heath. The resort`s convenient shuttle to the Magic Kingdom of Disneyland leaves every hour. The property`s 7,000 square foot Conference Theatre can accommodate groups up to 500. A Clarion Class Biznet Business Center, with a computer, printer, fax and photocopy machines will be built in the near future.


Room rates start at $99. Discounts are available when booked in advance on a space-available basis for seniors, AAA members, business travelers, government staff, military personnel and groups. Children, ages 18 and under, stay free when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The Clarion Hotel Anaheim Resort participates in Choice Privileges, Choice Hotels` frequent-traveler program. These guests receive a complimentary USA Today at their door each morning; breakfast coupons and can earn points toward free stays.
From February 15 through April 30, members of American Airlines AAdvantage, Delta SkyMiles, Northwest Airlines WorldPerks, US Airways Dividend Miles, United Mileage Plus and Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards can receive triple airline miles or credits when staying at any Choice brand hotel in the U.S. and Caribbean. Guests at Clarion Hotels will earn 750 miles per stay instead of the standard 250 miles and members of the Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Program will receive 1.5 credits instead of the usual 0.5 credits.
