Greydanus Appointment at Embassy Suites

Hilton Hotels Corporation announced today that David Greydanus has been named senior vice president-brand management for Embassy Suites Hotels(R), part of the Hilton Family of Hotels. He most recently served as senior vice president of operations for company-managed Embassy Suites Hotels and Hilton Suites, overseeing a portfolio of 97 hotels nationwide, a position he held since 1999.
In his new role, Greydanus will report directly to Tom Keltner, president—brand performance and franchise development group, and will be charged with overseeing marketing, sales, revenue management and public relations strategies; unit growth; product and service quality; intermediary relationships; and hotel field support for one of most vibrant brands in the hotel industry.

Embassy Suites Hotels currently encompasses 170 hotels in North and South America. The brand remains a leader in the full-service, upper-upscale lodging segment as measured by RevPAR attainment, market-share, guest service scores and operating margins.
A 13-year company veteran, Greydanus` past experience with Hilton Hotels Corporation and Embassy Suites Hotels has included the positions of general manager and hotel-level director of sales and marketing. In addition, he also has had multi-property roles as senior director of brand sales and marketing support, area vice president of operations for the southeastern U.S., and regional vice president of operations for the northeastern U.S. for Embassy Suites Hotels and Doubletree hotels.
Prior to working at Hilton, Greydanus held various positions in the hotel industry within the areas of food and beverage operations, general management and multi-property operations.
He will continue to be based in Memphis, Tenn., where he lives with his wife and son.
