Jackson Hewitt Brings In-Mall Storefronts and Kiosks To Nation`s Second Largest Mall Owner Locations
Jackson Hewitt Inc., a subsidiary of Cendant Corporation (NYSE:CD) and the nation`s fastest-growing tax preparation service, announced a new partnership with General Growth Management, Inc., the second largest owner, developer and manager of malls in the U.S., that will bring tax preparation storefronts and kiosks to select shopping centers throughout the tax season.

The alliance will enable the placement of in-mall Jackson Hewitt Tax Service locations in select General Growth malls, along with exclusive marketing rights to promote tax preparation services via on-mall print and electronic advertising, mall Internet advertising, mall telephone information sponsorships, coupons and the dissemination of other promotional materials. In addition, more than 5,000 General Growth mall employees will receive a discount on tax preparation services at any of the more than 4,100 Jackson Hewitt Tax Service locations nationwide.

Last year, Jackson Hewitt Tax Service prepared more than 2.5 million taxpayer income tax returns through traditional storefront locations and retail-partner locations. With location placement in 30 malls, the products and services provided by Jackson Hewitt Tax Service will be available to the more than 80 million mall visitors expected over the course of the three and a half month tax season period.
