Mövenpick Signs International Trade Holding Company

Dr. Hamad I. Al-Towaijri, Chairman of International Trade Holding Company, and Andreas Mattmüller, Senior Vice-President Middle East of the Swiss group Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, signed a man-agement agreement in Kuwait for the operation of a Five Star hotel, valued at over 15 million US dollars. The new Mövenpick Hotel Kuwait is already in operation and was taken over by 01 February 2003. This new hotel is ideally located on 16,000 square meters prime land, in the new free zone, 7 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from the major business, commercial and shopping centres.
Mövenpick Hotel Kuwait consists of 100 deluxe rooms, all facing the sea. An executive floor and lounge have been uniquely designed with upgraded amenities to suit the needs of discerning business travellers. Some of the additional services and facilities include five restaurants, 24-hour room service, laundry and valet service, a meeting room and business centre, a river pool as well as ample parking space.
The hotel`s unique location next to the exclusive Villa Moda, and City Center shopping malls will provide all guests with shopping and entertainment facilities.
Mövenpick’s excellence in gastronomy lends itself wonderfully to the hotel and provides an exquisite dining experience. A Mövenpick restaurant for international cuisine, The Tea Lounge for fresh coffee and pastries, the Shisha terrace for eve-nings of endless entertaining and two main speci-ality restaurants, Al Dente for casual Italian cuisine and Cuts steakhouse, offer a variety of culinary experience and ambience.
