Business Travel News, a highly regarded business travel publication, annually sends out surveys to hundreds of corporate travel planners and ranks their answers in a poll. To qualify to rate a particular hotel company, respondents were required to have done business with that chain within the past 12 months. This year`s survey only presented and scored data on hotel chains for which respondents reported statistically significant usage.
Doubletree Club Hotels tied with Four Points by Sheraton?’ for the highest overall weighted average score in its category and ranked the highest in the following areas of the survey: Ease in Arranging Individual Travel, Ease in Arranging Group Travel, Facilities for Meetings, Timely Commission Payment, Quality of Food, Helpful & Courteous Staff and Quality of Business Amenities. Doubletree Club Hotels topped popular competitors such as Courtyard by Marriott?’ and Holiday Inn?’.
