Clarion Ventura Beach Goes Marriott

Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE:MAR) announced today that the Clarion Ventura Beach Hotel in Ventura, Calif., has officially been re-branded as the Marriott Ventura Beach. The property has just completed an $8.2 million renovation and will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by Olympus Real Estate Partners and operated by Remington Hotel Corporation of Dallas, Texas.
Situated just 200 yards from the Pacific Ocean in the Ventura Beach district and adjacent to San Buenaventura State Beach, the new 286-room Marriott is approximately 30 miles from Santa Barbara Airport and 45 miles from Burbank Airport. The contemporary 4-story hotel features an interior tropical courtyard with waterfalls, a heated kidney-shaped pool and whirlpool.
