Holiday Inn Express Debuts in Georgia

ATLANTA, (Feb. , 2003) - Holiday Inn Express announced today that the newly renovated 80-room Holiday Inn Express-Chateau Elan Lodge, in Braselton, Ga., opened February 3, representing another addition to the midscale brand’s portfolio of limited-service hotels.

The Holiday Inn Express-Chateau Elan Lodge is owned by L’Auberge, International, Inc. and managed by Ridgewood Hotels under a license agreement with an affiliate of Six Continents Hotels, Inc.
“Holiday Inn Express hotels are designed to be the smart choice for value-conscious business and leisure travelers,” said Jenifer Zeigler, vice president of marketing for the Holiday Inn Express brand. “Development in the North Georgia area is important in expanding our Holiday Inn Express consumer base and establishing a strong presence in prime tourist locations.”
Situated forty minutes north of Atlanta, the new hotel is adjacent to and shares amenities with prestigious Ch‰teau Élan Winery & Resort. Hotel guests will have access to the winery, spa, four golf courses, equestrian center, conference center, tennis center and eight restaurants, including a spirited authentic Irish Pub. North Georgia’s primary tourist attractions are just minutes from the hotel, including Lake Lanier Islands Water Park, Stone Mountain, Road Atlanta, Panoz Racing School and Mayfield Dairy.
