InterContinental Cancels Cancellation

InterContinental Hotels & Resorts announced today that it will eliminate all cancellation and attrition fees for meetings booked at InterContinental hotels in the U.S. and Canada between Feb. 1 and April 30, 2003, that are scheduled to take place from now through Dec. 31, 2003.

With the increased challenges presented by the economy and the current uncertainty in today’s world, meeting planners can continue to book with confidence at InterContinental hotels. Meeting planners and their clients will not be penalized should conditions arise during which they feel it is necessary to cancel a meeting.

“We understand the increased need for face-to-face meetings to address business needs and objectives during these challenging economic times,” said Jeff Senior, Brand Vice President, North America, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts. “However, we also recognize the uncertainty many may have in booking meetings and committing funds. At InterContinental, we know what it takes to address these concerns and provide solutions that enable meeting planners to keep moving forward with their business.”

To book a meeting at any InterContinental hotel, call the hotel direct or call 1-800-MEETING. For more information on InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, visit www.intercontinental.com.
