Cherryl Brazier has joined Thistle Hotels as director of groups, meetings and incentive sales for the USA and Canada.

Brazier, who joins from the British Tourist Authority`s (BTA) Los Angeles Office, where she held the role of senior marketing executive, will be responsible for raising the profile of Thistle Hotels to the groups, meetings and incentive markets both in the USA and Canada.

Commenting on her appointment, James Enright, vice-president of sales for the Americas: “We are delighted that Cherryl has joined the USA team and she will oversee the many sales and marketing initiatives designed to increase the company`s share of the important outbound North American GMI market”

Brazier brings a wealth of experience to Thistle Hotels and prior to working with the BTA, she worked for a number of hotel companies including Hilton International, The Royal Garden Hotel and the Café Royal in London.
