San Diego`s Newly Renovated Holiday Inn

Holiday Inn Express announced today that the newly renovated 88-room Holiday Inn Express San Diego-Mission Bay opened Jan. 16, representing another addition to the midscale brand’s portfolio of limited-service hotels.

The Holiday Inn Express San Diego-Mission Bay is owned and managed by DKN Hospitality under a license agreement with an affiliate of Six Continents Hotels, Inc.

“Development in the San Diego area is important in expanding our Holiday Inn Express consumer base and establishing a strong presence in prime tourist locations,” said Jenifer Zeigler, vice president of marketing for the Holiday Inn Express brand. “Holiday Inn Express hotels are designed to be the smart choice for value-conscious business and leisure travelers.”

Situated in the business district of Pacific Beach, the hotel is within walking distance to Mission Bay and local eateries. San Diego’s primary tourist attractions are just minutes from the hotel, including the Gaslamp District, Seaport Village, Sea World, Pacific Beach, the San Diego Zoo, Legoland and Old Town.

The newly renovated property offers a variety of amenities such as an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center and complimentary parking. In the evenings, guests are welcome to freshly baked cookies.
