BW Australia Staff Become Santas

SYDNEY - Best Western Australia staff are hand delivering over 2,500 Best Western Kids Discovery Club Packs to 10 major children’s hospitals around the country just in time for Christmas.
At today’s lighting of the Christmas Tree ceremony at Westmead Children’s Hospital, Best Western Australia staff distributed 300 Kids Activity Packs to children, spending the holiday period in hospital.

As part of the Best Western Australia Kids Discovery promotion, Wonderland Sydney has kindly donated three full day passes for two adults to Wonderland Sydney. Westmead Children’s Hospital will donate these passes to families who may be going through difficult times.
As part of a worldwide effort to give something back to the communities in which Best Western does business, Best Western launched Best Western for a Better World? in all Best Western offices and hotels throughout the world on November 4. The power of being THE WORLD’S LARGEST HOTEL CHAIN® allows Best Western to work together to make our world a better place.

As Christmas is a time for thinking of families, Best Western Australia decided to give something back to those families not able to celebrate at home.

“Nobody likes to see kids in hospital at Christmas. At The Children’s Hospital at Westmead we try to make it as enjoyable as possible with lots of entertainment and special visits. The generosity of Best Western is an excellent example of how we can make a child’s day brighter. There is just so much for them to do in the pack. We are all looking forward to the visit,” said Gilly Paxton, public relations manager.

Each Kids Pack contains a Best Western Activity Book, which is full of games, stories, drawings and puzzles as well as theme park discounts, pencils, a pencil case, a sharpener, a tattoo transfer and a Chupa Chup.

The Ultimate Kids Getaway includes a Family Three Park Super Pass with Warner Village Theme Parks (includes Warner Bros. Movieworld, Sea World and Wet ‘n’ Wild Water World), five days car hire with Avis and four nights accommodation with Best Western Australia.
