Rejuvenate at the M Hotel Singapore

M Hotel Singapore is pleased to announce the opening of a brand new Waterfloor and as the name suggests, Waterfloor connotes a hydro-spa, gymnasium and swimming pool, all of which comprise elements of water. The gymnasium and swimming pool are scheduled to be ready in December 2002 while the spa will only open in January 2003.

Occupying the entire 11th floor of the hotel, it is sub-divided into three sections: the spa, gymnasium and swimming pool. Adopting a contemporary design and aquatic theme, the main materials used are slate, wood, pebble and glass. “Focusing on wellness, you can expect to experience a complete rejuvenation”, said Chee. T. Ng, General Manager of the M Hotel.

The luxurious spa is jointly managed and operated by the hotel and a professional spa consultant, staffed by a team of qualified personnel in beauty therapists. The spa offers services ranging from facial, spa and body treatments to hydrotherapy. All beauty treatment and hydrotherapy products used are developed specifically for professional Aestheticians and are manufactured in Switzerland and Europe, using the best technology and only high quality ingredients. Featuring five self-contained Suites, the main focal points are the two impressive VIP Suites equipped with top of the range hydro facilities.

Guests will embark on a journey of sensory pleasures as they step into the outdoor swimming pool area, treading on neatly arranged pebble paths lightly flushed with water before they view the gymnasium. The visual treat begins when they are greeted by the waterfloor logo overlooking the striking floating glass walls, flickering and wavering like water. This is further by two massage pools, each equipped with well-placed jet selectors and a built-in handgrip and precise engineered 12-air injector hydro-jets for improved hydrotherapeutic effect. Specially designed for our guests’ needs, a rock climbing panel system located in the pool area has been engineered to provide indoor climbing opportunities that parallel the look, feel, and spirit of an outdoor rock climbing experience.

Adjacent to the pool, the state of-the-art gymnasium enclosed by glass walls and a high exposed ceiling has the latest range of fitness equipment with personal built-in audio and visual system to accentuate the fitness experience. Another indoor rock climbing panel system can be found here and individually tailored training programmes are also available.

The Relaxing Lounge, reserved for members and in-house guests and featuring an array of wall sofas and seats for reflexology, comes complete with a comprehensive audio visual system and a self service beverage and snacks dispenser,

“To cater to the needs of the Internet-savvy generation, the entire area has been equipped to provide guests with wireless broadband Internet capabilities. As part of our enhancement programme, we continue to innovate and improve the facilities we offer to our valued guests. ” added Chee.
