MeriStar Hotels & Resorts (NYSE:MMH), the nation`s largest independent management company, today announced that Larry B. Gildersleeve has joined the company as executive vice president of its new resort timeshare division.
He will report to John Plunket, president of the resort timeshare division.

Gildersleeve has more than 20 years of domestic and international timeshare industry experience in a variety of operations, marketing and sales positions. Previously, he was president of his own consulting firm, where he specialized in strategic planning and business development. He has held senior vice president positions in marketing and sales at Miami-based Interval International and Resort Condominiums International (RCI) in Indianapolis, and was vice president of club operations at Hilton Grand Vacations Company in Orlando.
Gildersleeve holds a bachelor`s degree from Western Kentucky University and an M.B.A. from Indiana Wesleyan University. He is a licensed realtor in Florida and has served on a number of university and non-profit boards. He has authored numerous articles and has spoken at more than 50 timeshare industry and related events worldwide. He is past president of the International Timeshare Foundation and past council member of the American Resort Development Association (ARDA).
