Starwood Hotels & Resorts Names Former GE Executive Dene Rogers Senior Vice President Of Strategic P

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE:HOT) announced today the appointment of Dene Rogers to Senior Vice President, Strategic Planning.
In his new role, Rogers is responsible for leading Starwood`s strategic planning process and the development of a strategic business plan to guide the company`s operating decisions in the coming years. Rogers will also serve as a member of the company`s senior operating committee. He will report to Barry S. Sternlicht, Starwood`s Chairman and CEO.


Rogers joins Starwood from GE Capital Corporation where he was a senior vice president of business development. Prior to his tenure with GE Capital, Rogers was with Booz Allen & Hamilton, an international management consulting firm. Prior to this, he ran his own energy consulting firm in Japan. He is a graduate of Yale University and is originally from Perth, Australia.

Rogers will be based at Starwood`s corporate office in White Plains, NY and resides in Cos Cob, Connecticut with his family.
