Four Seasons Claims Seven Mobil`s

Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco, after its first year in operation, and The Ritz-Carlton Chicago (a Four Seasons Hotel) are the newest Four Seasons recipients of the highly coveted Mobil Travel Guide Five-Star awards. ExxonMobil today announced a total of seven Four Seasons properties to be included in its Five-Star awards for 2003 - more than any other hotel company in the world. Repeat winners include: Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta; Four Seasons Hotel Boston; Four Seasons Hotel Chicago; Four Seasons Hotel New York; and Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach.

“This great honour is a tribute to the dedicated staff and management of our hotels,” said Wolf Hengst, president, worldwide hotel operations, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. “Having seven of our North American properties rated at five stars is a real achievement, especially since Mobil identifies exceptional service as the distinguishing criteria for hotels.”

The Mobil Travel Guide Five-Star Awards are reserved for an elite group of establishments that uphold standards of excellence rated by an independent network of national culinary and hospitality experts. The 30 Award winners in the hotel category will be honored at a ceremony in Naples, Florida in April.

“The Mobil Five-Star Award indicates that a property is one of the best in the country and consistently provides a superlative level of service, quality and ambience,” said Kenneth P. Cohen, ExxonMobil vice president of public affairs. “The Four Seasons hotels and resorts distinguished by the Mobil Five-Star Award are considered among today’s leaders in the hospitality industry.”
