Wyndham International Appoints David Mussa To Top Central Reservations Post

Wyndham International, Inc. (NYSE:WYN) announced today the appointment of David Mussa to vice president of reservations overseeing and managing the company`s central reservations office and global distribution channel relationships and connectivity.
Mussa is also responsible for establishing and implementing integrated reservations processes and technologies throughout all Wyndham property reservations offices and regional call centers. He is based at the company`s central reservations office in Irving, Texas.


“Over 50 percent of Wyndham`s room revenue flows through our central reservations distribution channels,” said Chris Heinz, Wyndham`s senior vice president of distribution and revenue management. “With David`s leadership and channel partner relationships, we look to enhance Wyndham`s brand contribution even more.”


Prior to joining Wyndham, Mussa was with Sabre, Inc. for five years, most recently serving as partner engineering manager for GetThere.com, a division of Sabre where he was responsible for developing and implementing solutions to integrate hospitality suppliers into the GetThere product.


He began his career with Hyatt Hotels in 1985 as a front desk agent and reservations clerk at the Hyatt San Antonio. Mussa then became the front office manager at the Embassy Suites San Antonio in 1987 before moving to LaQuinta Inns, Inc. He remained with LaQuinta for 10 years where he held several managerial positions in central reservations/GDS database administration and revenue management. Mussa received a B.A. from St. Mary`s University in San Antonio.
