Wyndham International, Inc. (NYSE:WYN) announced today that the Wedge Group will build, own and operate a 180-room Wyndham Garden Hotel in Chelsea, Mass., through a franchise agreement with Wyndham.
The Wyndham Garden Hotel - Chelsea will be Wyndham`s 13th property in the Greater Boston area, including the newly opened flagship hotel in the financial district, Wyndham Boston.

Wyndham Garden Hotel - Chelsea will be a centerpiece of an Urban Renewal District, and will be located on Everett Street adjacent to Route 1. It is about two miles north of downtown Boston and Logan International Airport. The seven-story facility, which is now under construction, is expected to open October 2000. It will feature a restaurant, lobby bar, 1,400-square feet of meeting space, an indoor pool and an exercise facility. The Wedge Group is a Houston-based hotel owner and operator, with three properties in New England.

Wyndham International`s franchising program enables leading hotel owners and operators the opportunity to join the Wyndham brand.
