Two New Names For Thistle Hotels

4th Mar 2002

From Monday 4 March, two Thistle Hotels will be renamed, resulting from the on going investment, refurbishment and re-branding programme being carried out by the company.

The 310 bedroom Heathrow Park hotel will be renamed as the Thistle London Heathrow, while the 375 bedroom Thistle Kings Cross will be known as the Thistle Islington.

Both hotels have undergone multi-million pound investment and refurbishment programmes over the last three years, focusing on all aspects of the hotels from bedrooms, to food and beverage outlets, to meeting facilities.

Commenting on the name changes, William Burton, director of sales and marketing, Thistle Hotels:These two latest name changes simply reflect the continued investment we have been making over the last few years, ensuring that the product and service our guests receive at Thistle Hotels is consistent across the group.
