Hollywood Motel Owner Named To Super 8 Motel`s Franchisee Advisory Board

Super 8 Motels, Inc. announced the appointment of Suresh “Phil” Patel, owner of the Hollywood, Calif. Super 8 motel, to the chain`s Franchisee Advisory Board. Super 8 Motels President Robert N. Weller appointed Patel, who has been a Super 8 motel owner for four years. “Phil`s hard work and devotion to Super 8 makes him a perfect candidate for the Franchisee Advisory Board,” Weller said. “I`m sure he will provide a tremendous amount of insight and I look forward to working with him.”


The Franchisee Advisory Board meets quarterly to discuss major issues impacting the company, whose members provide input to the decision-making process for the success of the entire Super 8 franchise system. Franchisee Advisory Board members are expected to participate in all major marketing programs and have no significant quality assurance deficiency under Super 8`s standards of operation. Additionally, 80 percent of each member`s total hotel or motel ownership must be with Super 8 Motels.
