Sol Melia Hotels, which has more than 245 hotels and resorts worldwide and is Latin America’s premier hotel chain, will become a participant in the American Airlines AADVANTAGE program effective August 1.
AADVANTAGE members will earn 500 miles each time they stay at Sol Melia properties, which are located at some of the world’s most magnificent leisure destinations as well as in important business markets.
To celebrate the participation in the AAdvantage Program as well as the grand opening of the Gran Melia Caracas in Venezuela, Sol Melia is offering 2,000 bonus miles per stay during September and October, 1998 at all Gran Melia Hotels, Melia Hotels, Melia Confort Hotels and Paradisus Resorts throughout Latin America. To qualify, guests must stay a minimum of three nights and pay rack or corporate rate.
The Gran Melia Caracas is the most luxurious hotel of its kind in Venezuela with its 668 rooms and suites, featuring five international gourmet restaurants, 28 conference rooms, swimming pool and fitness center , a heliport with VIP lounge, and five Royal Service floors with private check-in/ check-out lounge, butler and concierge service and other special amenities such as a pillow menu, daily buffet breakfast and evening cocktails & hors d’oeuvres.
AADVANTAGE members staying at the Gran Melia Caracas during September and October will receive a free room upgrade to the Royal Service floor at no extra charge (subject to availability).
