Raffles International Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Javier Rosenberg as the General Manager of Raffles Hotel, Singapore. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Rosenberg was the General Manager of Swiss™tel Atlanta in the United States.
Mr. Rosenberg has 12 years of hospitality management experience, beginning in Argentina after graduating from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Since then, he has worked in a variety of operational and management positions with international deluxe, five-star properties in Puerto Rico, Spain and the United States. Under the management of Mr Rosenberg, Marbella Club Hotel in Marbella, Spain was awarded “Best Vacation Hotel in Spain” by Grandes Viajes magazine and “Best European Waterside Resort"in 1998, by Johansens’ The World’s Finest Recommended Hotels Guide.
During his tenure in Atlanta, Mr. Rosenberg was actively involved in various tourism and hospitality-related committees, including the Marketing Committee of Buckhead Hotel Council, the Marketing Committee of Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Luxury Marketing Council of Atlanta, where he was a founding member.

In 2001, Mr. Rosenberg was conferred the Young Hotelier of the World Award by the International Hotels & Restaurants Association and the industry publication, Hotels. This award is given in recognition of an outstanding career performance, community and industry involvement and international experience among hospitality executives under the age of 30.
