Virginie Sido has been appointed Advertising,
Publishing and Visual Identity Department Manager within the Accor Corporate
Communications. She replaces Suzanne Matsakis who manages Communications for
the Group`s Leisure and Tourism Division.
Virginie Sido`s mission will be to enhance Accor`s awarness and image, especially
through advertising campaigns and external publications (“Accor le Magazine”, annual
reports, etc.). She will be entrusted with ensuring the coherence and strengthing of
Accor`s visual identity (endorsements, signage, digital photo library, etc.) within the

Virginie Sido, 35, holds a diploma from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce of
Tours/Poitiers. She began her career with Novotel, as a Product Manager, and then as
the head of Marketing/Communication. In 1997, she took over the Management of
Promotions, Publishing and Multimedia for Sofitel, Novotel and Mercure. Since the end
of 1999, she has been in charge of Marketing & Communication Management for
E-Commerce & Internet activities in Hotels and Tourism.
