Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts has appointed Jacques Villeneuve as the new General Manager for The Pan Pacific San Francisco, according to President Ichigo Umehara.
Villeneuve succeeds Volker Ulrich who has been General Manager for the last eight years. Ulrich is retiring after a successful career in the hospitality industry and looks forward to building a home on Maui with his wife Valerie.

Prior to his appointment as General Manager of The Pan Pacific San Francisco, Villeneuve was the opening Resort Manager at the luxurious Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara. In addition, he held management positions with the Beverly Hills Hotel and Bungalows; Century Plaza Hotel and Tower, Los Angeles; Four Seasons Philadelphia; Inn on the Park Houston; Le Quatre Saisons Montreal, Quebec; Four Seasons Ottawa, Ontario; The Bonaventure Hotel, Montreal, Quebec.

A native of Montreal, Quebec, Villeneuve is a graduate of the Montreal Hotel Management School. He is relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife Marie and two children.
