The Pan Pacific Hotel Kuala Lumpur International Airport has been awarded the Best Business Airport Hotel In Asia 2000, by Business Asia magazine and leading financial news network Bloomberg Television, Sydney. The award presentation ceremony was held in Singapore recently.

The awards were established to recognize excellence in the hotel industry and encourage better standards in crucial business travel sector. The judges were Ken Cowley, a News Corporation Director, Peter Charlton, publisher of Business Asia Bloomberg Television`s James Ross, Robert Stiles, Managing Director Asia-Pacific of Sonnenblick Goldman, and Cameron Cooper, Editor of Business Asia. Votes were then sought from Business Asia readers and Bloomberg Television viewers. Votes were counted and tallied by Gould Ralph & Company Chartered Accountants in Sydney.

“It is a new category of award under the Best Business Hotels Asia Awards 2000 and we are very honored to be the first to win it, says Hotel Manager, Mohamad Halim Merican.
