Ramada International Hotels & Resorts was highly acknowledged for its new advertising campaign in the Adrian Awards Competition conducted by Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI). The Adrian Awards competition spotlights the most effective and creative marketing communications efforts in the travel, tourism and hospitality industries.
This year`s competition drew nearly 2,000 entries from more than 55 countries. Ramada International was awarded one of the highest honors, a Gold Adrian, for its new campaign because it was “on target” in communicating its unique selling proposition, “Everything Except Excess.” The wining campaign, created by Warren/Kremer/CMP Advertising, consists of three advertisements, which, in a light-hearted tone, address Ramada International`s ability to deliver value at a moderate price in a reliable, consistent manner worldwide.
“Ramada International is proud to be recognized by the pre-eminent international association of travel sales and marketing professionals. The Adrian Awards Competition is the oldest and largest advertising competition in the industry,” said Reas Kondraschow, senior vice president and managing director. “We`re especially pleased given that Ramada International was among many quality hospitality providers in the competitive category of Ad Series.”
According to Peter Warren, president of Warren/Kremer/CMP/Advertising, “There was truly something unique to say about Ramada International that lent itself very well to the focused, impactful message that comes across clearly in the campaign.”
In addition to the Gold Adrian for Ad Series award, Ramada International was awarded a Bronze Adrian in the category of Single Entry Advertising for its “Bedroom” ad, which is one of the three advertisements in the overall campaign.
Ramada International is a Marriott International, Inc. (MAR/NYSE) lodging brand.
