For the second straight year, Marriott Rewards has been named Best Hotel Reward Program in the World by Business Traveler International magazine and its readers—among the world`s most discerning, well-traveled executives. The 2,000 readers polled also rated Marriott highest for Best Domestic Hotel Chain for Business Travelers and second for Best International Hotel Chain. These honors came just one week after Marriott Rewards won the Freddie Award for Best Frequent Guest Program of the Year by InsideFlyer magazine.
Marriott Rewards allows members to earn and redeem points at nine participating hotel brands encompassing more than 1,500 properties in 45 countries. Participating properties, which cross all pricing tiers, range from economy, mid-priced and extended-stay hotels to full-service hotels, conference centers and time share villas. Brands include Marriott Hotels, Resorts and Suites; Courtyard by Marriott; Fairfield Inn by Marriott; Residence Inn by Marriott; TownePlace Suites by Marriott; SpringHill Suites by Marriott; Marriott Conference Centers; Marriott Vacation Club International; and Renaissance Hotels and Resorts.
The program features more than 175 different reward options including hotel stays, frequent flyer miles, cruises, golf awards and complete vacation packages. Membership is complimentary and Marriott Rewards points do not expire.
