Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels Promotes Mark Durran To Senior Vice President

Mark Durran has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels. Based in the firm`s Sydney office, Mr Durran will oversee major hotel investment sales operations in Victoria, in addition to spearheading brokerage in New South Wales.

Announcing the promotion, Managing Director Mr David Gibson said “Our decision to dedicate additional resources to Victoria is in response to increased investor demand.”


“We are currently working with a number of operators and owners seeking entry into the Melbourne market and advising on new development projects including the Southern Cross Hotel Site and Melbourne GPO” added Mr Durran.

Since joining Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels, Mr Durran has been involved in arranging major transactions worth in excess of $170m in combined value, as well as negotiating numerous hotel management agreements. Recent investment sales include the Gazebo Parramatta Hotel at A$40m, All Seasons on Crown at A$9.74m and Lilianfels Resort at A$20m. Mr Durran holds a Bachelor degree in Economics from LaTrobe University.
