Alan Tantleff Joins Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels` New York Team

Arthur Adler, Managing Director, Americas, of Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels announced the addition of Alan Tantleff to the New York staff. Tantleff, who will serve as Senior Vice President, will spearhead the efforts to expand the institutional client base.

Mr. Tantleff has a diverse background that includes hotel operations, hotel asset management and brokerage experience as well as skills in developing both private and institutional client accounts. He is an outstanding addition to our team.”

During his career, Mr. Tantleff has asset managed approximately $1 billion worth of hotel properties and was responsible for the disposition of more than $1 billion of hotel assets including the New York Hilton, the Capital and Washington Hiltons (both in Washington, D.C.), the Denver Marriott, the Hyatt Regency Cambridge (Massachusetts) and a portfolio of 23 hotels in joint ventures with H.E.I. Hotels and other hotel management companies.

Most recently, Mr. Tantleff was Senior Vice President of Granite Partners, LLC where he developed the Lodging and Leisure Group. Prior to that, he held positions as Vice President of The Prudential Insurance Company of America—where he managed a portfolio of U.S. and Canadian hotel investments - and Senior Operations Analyst at the Sands Casino Hotel in Atlantic City.

Mr. Tantleff is a member of the Cornell Real Estate Council, Cornell Hotel Society and the New York Regional Plan Association. He has served as an Adjunct Associate Professor of New York University.
