Jarvis Hotels Appoints Richard Thomason As CEO

Jarvis Hotels plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Thomason as Chief Executive with immediate effect.  He takes over the position from John Jarvis who continues in his role as executive Chairman of the group.
Richard Thomason is currently an Executive Director of Jarvis Hotels with responsibility for hotel operations. He was one of the founding directors of Jarvis in 1990, and was appointed to the Board in 1995. He was previously Area Director of Airport Hotels for Forte plc, and before that, General Manager of the Gatwick Hilton Hotel.
Richard is committed to progressing the re-positioning of Jarvis as a hospitality management services business and has played a key operational role in the Group’s successful move to re-brand its UK hotel portfolio under Marriott International’s Ramada brand.
