Protea Hotels Bigger And Better

This last year has proved to be an exciting period for Protea Hotels, with continued growth of their Premier Protea Hotel portfolio, two distinguished management contracts as well as several new acquisitions, which are sure to secure Protea`s status throughout Africa!

The latest addition to the Premier Protea Hotel portfolio - The Protea Hotel Wanderers, is situated within the secure grounds of the Wanderers Club.  The central “African” theme has been harmoniously blended with the simplicity of the Feng Shui philosophy, creating a style that can best be described as sophisticated and worldly. The hotel consists of 231 upmarket bedrooms, which are modern in both décor and facilities, offering guests the full range of choice, from Standard Double to Presidential and Deluxe Suites.

Another new addition to the Premier portfolio is the Protea Hotel Knysna Quays, which is situated on the banks of the famous Knysna Lagoon and offers visitors the perfect opportunity to experience the Oyster capital. The uniquely designed wooden sundeck and individual moorings and jetties at each doorstep, provide tranquil views of the lagoon and ferries plying between the Knysna heads.

Protea Hotel Lusaka Safari Lodge in Zambia boasts a phenomenal wealth of wildlife. Located just 35 minutes from Lusaka, in a private game reserve, this hotel offers superb facilities for the holiday and business traveler alike.

Other exciting additions to Protea`s portfolio in Africa are Protea Hotel Amani Beach in Dar es Salaam, Protea Hotel Harare Safari Lodge and Protea Hotel Ryalls in Malawi.
