Mr. Bernd Chorengel, president of Hyatt International Corporation, and Mr. Y. H. Cho, chairman and CEO of Korean Air announced that Hyatt would manage the 530-guestroom hotel at Incheon Airport Seoul slated to open mid-2003.
Hyatt has been in the Korean marketplace for 24 years managing the award winning Grand Hyatt Seoul and Hyatt Regency Cheju, an island resort property on Chungmum Beach 50 minutes by air from Seoul. Hyatt Regency Incheon will be Hyatt International`s third hotel in Korea.
The hotel will feature:
- Extensive meeting and banquet facilities including 20 multi-size function rooms with interpretation services available in five languages, as well as multimedia and satellite video conferencing equipment.
- Guestroom technology will include Internet access, on-line financial information and computer dataports, as well as flight information displays via television monitors. Hyatt will also include its signature Regency Club executive floors and Regency Club Lounge which offers daily complimentary breakfast, all day tea and coffee and evening cocktails, and the use of a private boardroom.
- Five restaurants offering Asian and Western cuisines and fitness facilities with a fully equipped gym, massage and treatment rooms, spa pools, and a spacious indoor swimming pool.
