Hyatt Hotels & Resorts was voted by readers of the Business Traveller Germany the “Best Hotel Chain Worldwide 1999”. This is the seventh consecutive year since 1992 that Hyatt Hotels & Resorts to wins this award for its excellent facilities and services. Hyatt is also the first-runner up for “Best Hotel Chain in the United States 1999”. This award has been received by Hyatt since the award was presented for the first time in 1992. The Grand Hyatt New York was awarded “Best Business Hotel in North America 1999” by discerning travellers who are the clientele of this magazine.

The Asian Hyatt Hotels & Resorts were voted second place winner for “Best Hotel Chain in Asia” and the European Hotels were voted third “Best Hotel Chain in Europe”.

3,000 readers of the publication participated in the survey which is carried out on an annual basis. The survey pays homage to excellent products, state-of the art facilities and unique concepts in the hospitality industry. Hyatt International Directory of Marketing for Europe, Africa & the Middle East, Allan Edgar, commented : “Germany is a key and substantial outbound market world-wide.
