Prime Hospitality Signs Agreement With HRN

Prime Hospitality Corp.
(NYSE: PDQ) has announced it has signed an agreement with
Hotel Reservations Network (HRN), (Nasdaq: ROOM), the number one provider of
discount accommodations worldwide, to offer AmeriSuites and Wellesley Inns &
Suites room inventory over its various online distribution channels.

This 18-month agreement expands the 50 individual hotel agreements Prime
hotels previously had with HRN. Now, inventory for all AmeriSuites and
Wellesley Inns & Suites hotels systemwide will be available via HRN`s discount
sales channels.

“This partnership will bring our brands tremendous exposure as it allows
HRN to market our hotels through their enormous customer base and partner
sites. In addition, we will be included in HRN`s `Hot Deals Travel Newsletter`
which is sent via email to over two million Internet subscribers,” noted
Prime`s Vice President, E-Commerce, DJ Vallauri. “We expect this alliance will
result in millions of dollars in incremental room revenue for us.”
 
With the widest distribution of any travel site on the Internet, HRN
booked over $105 million in revenues in the first quarter 2001 alone. It`s
proprietary websites include: Hoteldiscount.com and 180096hotel.com and
affiliated websites include: Travelocity.com, BestFares.com and Vegas.com. HRN
is also prominently featured on leading Internet search engines including
Yahoo, Lycos, Excite and AOL.
