Marisa Serrano Named New GM At Antlers Adam`s Mark Hotel

Marisa Serrano, a 20-year hotel management veteran, has been appointed as the new general manager of the Antlers Adam`s Mark hotel.

Serrano previously served as general manager of the Sheraton DTC Hotel in Greenwood Village, Colo. and at the Four Points by Sheraton Denver Cherry Creek.


Before that, she has held various management positions at the Sheraton Hotel in Colorado Springs, the Comfort Inn in Denver, the Radisson Plaza Hotel in Fort Worth, TX, the Whitehall and Tremont Hotels in Chicago, and the Brown Palace Hotel in Denver.


A native of Argentina, Serrano earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. She succeeds former Adam`s Mark general manager, Robert Parmer.


Fred S. Kummer, president and chief executive officer of Adam`s Mark Hotels & Resorts, praised Parmer`s service to the Antlers Adam`s Mark but said he felt it was time for new leadership at the hotel. “Marisa Serrano is a proven hospitality industry veteran,” Kummer said. “We are pleased to welcome someone of her experience and leadership to Adam`s Mark.”

Serrano, who assumes her new job today, said: “I`m very excited about the opportunity to join Adam`s Mark and to become reacquainted with the community of Colorado Springs.”

Based in St. Louis, Adam`s Mark Hotels & Resorts is one of the largest independently owned and operated companies in the hospitality industry, with 24 upscale hotels in 14 states.
