K. Allen Anderson Named Vice President And Counsel For Hilton Hotels Corp.

K. Allen Anderson has been promoted to vice president and counsel of Hilton Hotels Corp.

He reports to Thomas E. Gallagher, executive vice president, chief administrative officer & general counsel. Anderson joined Hilton in 1998 as hotel acquisition and development counsel.


In his new position, Anderson will have primary legal responsibility for all corporate real estate-related matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, development, project finance, joint ventures and partnerships and leasing. He will also assist with management agreements and owner relationship matters.


Prior to joining Hilton, Anderson was an attorney with O`Melveny & Myers in Newport Beach, Calif., where he specialized in real estate acquisitions and finance, including working on several transactions for Hilton.


From 1991 to 1994, he served in the same capacity at Pettit & Martin, also of Newport Beach. Anderson began his legal career in 1989 with the firm of Irell & Manella in Los Angeles, where he specialized in real estate and entertainment.

Anderson graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Southern California and earned his juris doctorate from Yale Law School in 1989.


While at Yale, Anderson was the senior editor of the Yale Journal on Regulation. He is a member of the California State Bar; U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit; U.S. District Court, Central District; and the Beverly Hills Bar Association.
