Hilton Signs Up For New Italian Property In Sorrento

NAPLES, Italy ® The Bay of Naples is the location for Hilton`s latest hotel in Italy. From May 1, 2001, the 370-room Hilton Sorrento Palace will be managed by Hilton International on behalf of its owners, Societa Esercizi Alberghieri S.p.A.
The existing 5-star property, the largest in the area, will be re-branded Hilton following renovations to create an executive floor with CLUBROOM.


An ideal location for meetings, conventions and incentives, The Hilton Sorrento Palace includes a state-of-the-art congress centre with a 1700-seater auditorium, a full range of meeting rooms that will provide the `Hilton Meetings` product and 2,300 square metres of exhibition space. Six restaurants offer a choice of dining options including local Italian specialities and international cuisine, catering for banquets of up to 1,000 persons.


Sport and relaxation in the temperate Mediterranean climate is well catered for with a six-pool outdoor swimming complex, an indoor pool with frescoed ceiling, a tennis court, fitness centre and luxuriant grounds overlooking the sea.

Naples International Airport provides direct flights to European cities, or long-haul connections through Milan and Rome. Guests can reach Sorrento easily from Naples by road, rail or hydrofoil.

The Hilton Sorrento Palace will be Hilton`s fourth hotel in Italy, joining the Rome Cavalieri Hilton, Hilton Rome Airport and Hilton Milan.
