Days Inns Signs Master Franchise Agreement To Develop Brand In Italy

Days Inns Worldwide Inc. recently signed a Master Franchise Agreement with Bruno Petruzzo and Andrea Cesaretti of Days Master Italia SpA. to develop the Days Inns brand in Italy as mid-market hotels.

Petruzzo signed a 25-year agreement with the hotel chain to open a total of 500 rooms by 2005. The first hotels are likely to be developed in Milan, Naples and along the Adriatic Coast.

Days Master Italia SpA. is part of Team BMP, an Argentina-based company, which currently holds license agreements to develop Days Inns in four other countries, including Morocco, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay. “We are extremely pleased to once again have Mr. Petruzzo representing Day Inns` development. Now for the first time, Days Inns can offer both Italians and tourists an outstanding hotel product, providing more choices when traveling abroad,” said Joe Kane, president and CEO of Days Inns. “The addition of Italy to our growing international expansion reinforces Days Inns` position as a global lodging company.” “I continue to partner with Days Inns because I have witnessed first hand the power of a strong brand name,” said Bruno Petruzzo. “Travelers all over the world know and trust the Days Inn name and I wanted to be the first to offer its quality and value to the travelers of Italy.”
