The Peninsula Chicago Introduces å‘Enchanted Eveningså’

Beginning Friday, November 8 and running every Friday and Saturday evening from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., The Peninsula Chicago is proud to introduce a Contemporary Jazz trio and singer in The Lobby. As the restaurant setting is most luxurious and grand, what an ideal spot to take a loved one for a night out on the town complete with culinary delights and fabulous music.
Chanteuse Stephanie Browning, accompanied by Eric Remschneider on cello and bass, Mike Jeffers on drums and Chris White on the piano, will perform in The Lobby. Browning has been described by critics as “powerful and enchanting.” According to the Chicago Tribune, “Her appeal begins with the unusual quality of her instrument, a supple alto that somehow achieves the ethereal tone and nimble technique of a small instrument, as well as the robust, bluesy spirit of a much larger one. That Browning also commands a nearly infallible sense of pitch and a ferocious approach to swing makes her all the more effective.”
The Lobby menu offers a wide variety of menu items such as Caramelized Onion and Mushroom Broth to start, Butternut Squash Ravioli with Duck Confit, as well as delectable desserts such as Chocolate Ginger Tart and Lemon Sabayon Pecan Nut Tart to make the evening complete.
The Lobby, located on the fifth floor of The Peninsula Chicago at 108 East Superior Street, is open for dinner daily from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. To make reservations, please call (312) 573-6754. All major credit cards accepted.
