Club M̩diterran̩e And Air France Strengthen Their Close Cooperation

Club Méditerranée and Air France strengthen their close cooperation by signing a global strategic agreement
The Club Méditerranée group and Air France today announced the signing of a strategic agreement for several years, reiterating their close commercial cooperation and relating to airline purchasing by Club Med and Jet Tours throughout the world.

Today, Air France is the air transporter used most regularly by Club Méditerranée in France. Club Med being the company’s most important commercial partner in the leisure arena, this agreement demonstrates the strategic desire of both groups to broaden their relationship to cover all countries in the world.

Club Méditerranée will benefit from the best possible conditions for Club Med and Jet Tours destinations, regardless of the country of origin of sales.

Club Med and Jet Tours clients will also benefit from developments in technology at Air France, such as electronic ticketing. This system will allow GMs to travel with just a travel itinerary and no paper ticket, making Club Med the first French tour operator to offer this service. Air France is also the first airline transporter to offer this facility to a tour operator.

Finally, the two partners are also studying availability which Air France could offer Club Méditerranée at certain times in Moyen Courrier, leaving from Orly as of summer 2003.
