Park Place Entertainment Corporation (NYSE:PPE) announced today the opening of its new two-level, 52,000-square-foot casino expansion at its Grand Casino Biloxi property. Located on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, the new casino facilities add an additional 25,000 square feet of gaming space, 480 new slot machines, 11 table games, a redesigned Roxy’s- the fifties-style diner, and a 280-seat seafood buffet restaurant.
“The opening of the expanded Mississippi Long Bar Casino, the relocation and reopening of Roxy’s and the introduction of our newest food venue, ‘The Seafood Buffet,’ are continuing examples of Grand Casinos’ and Park Place Entertainment`s commitment to the Mississippi market,” said Tom Brosig, president of Park Place Entertainment’s Mid-South region.
Including the new casino, Grand Casino Biloxi features approximately 135,000 square feet of gaming space, 3,000 slot machines, 125 tables games, 1,000 guest rooms, the Bellissimo Spa, Salon & Fitness Center and the Jack Nicklaus-designed Grand Bear Golf Course.
