New Weekends Away Brochure

11th Oct 2002

The new Weekends Away magazine from Millennium Hotels and Resorts offers a spectacular array of exciting leisure breaks with great rates for anyone seeking a fun city break, a weekend out and about with the kids, a romantic treat for a loved one, or even just a weekend being pampered in the lap of luxury.

Also for the first time, the Weekends Away programme covers short breaks at the new five star Millennium properties in the Middle East and North Africa. Greater focus is also given to the other popular destinations in the USA and Singapore. Easily accessible from the UK, these all make exciting Weekends Away destinations for the discerning traveller.

The largest edition yet, Weekends Away is specifically designed to read like a lifestyle magazine, informing guests of interesting things to see and do in the local area and still including information on each of the hotels. Millennium Hotels and Resorts pioneered this approach to promote Weekends Away when the first magazine was launched in October 2001 and it has proved such a success with customers that the group has built on the format to make the magazine even more reader friendly for 2002. The intention is to supply a travel guide rather than simply a hotel brochure.

Included in this issue of the magazine, are a series of case studies, entitled ‘Our Weekend’ which give readers a realistic picture of the type of break on offer in the words of previous guests.

Highlights of the Weekends Away packages include a three course dinner for £9.50 at all hotels in the UK and France, for those who book it in advance of their stay; half-price Sunday for guests who stay on Friday and Saturday; 20% off all additional food, drink and telephone calls added to the bill and a special offer where guests get the seventh night of a week long stay for free. Weekends Away also includes Romance & Celebration packages and a great deal on family rooms including free accommodation for children under the age of 16 where a family room is available.
