Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE:MAR) today learned that the lawsuit brought against the company and others by Green Isle Partners was dismissed. The action was taken on Oct. 7, 2002 in the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico. The claims, which alleged mismanagement and improprieties regarding procurement involving the San Juan Ritz-Carlton hotel, were dismissed with prejudice, meaning that the claims may not be refiled or pursued elsewhere.
