The 59-unit Comfort Inn hotel, located at 4700 Doris Pate Dr. (just off exit 76 of I-20 and I-59), is now open
The hotel, which formerly operated as the Key West Inn, is managed by Jackson Hospitality Services, a management company that operates six other hotels in Alabama franchised by Choice Hotels International, Inc. Jackson Hospitality Services also operates the newly opened Comfort Inn & Suites in Birmingham and the Comfort Inn & Suites in Decatur.*

The Comfort Inn features 59 rooms including four queen and eight king suites. Each unit features either one king or two queen size beds, a 25-inch remote control TV with cable programming and Pay Per View movies, telephone with data port, desk, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Each suite also features a sofa bed, desk, microwave and refrigerator. Non smoking rooms and rooms for individuals with disabilities are also available.

Hotel features include an outdoor pool.

The hotel offers a free deluxe continental breakfast of biscuits and gravy, muffins, bagels, cereal, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, tea and milk. Guests also receive a complimentary copy of USA TODAY and free local phone calls.

The new Comfort Inn is 10 miles from downtown Tuscaloosa and 54 miles from Birmingham. McFarland Mall is three miles from the hotel. Also in the area are Paul Bryant Museum, University Mall and Mercedes Benz Center. The University of Alabama is five miles from the hotel.

Discounts are available for senior citizens, business travelers, members of the American Automobile Association, government and military personnel and groups. Children age 18 and under stay free in their parents` or grandparents` room.
