Jumeirah Supports Cancer Awareness Month

Together with some other 200 prominent landmarks around the world, Burj Al Arab will be illuminated in pink this evening as part of the third annual Estee Lauder Global Landmarks Illumination initiative in recognition of the October 2002 Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Christophe Schnyder, Hotel Manager for Burj Al Arab comments: “Jumeirah International is proud to support such an important cause as the October 2002 Breast Cancer Awareness Month and is delighted to illuminate Burj Al Arab for the third consecutive year and thereby contribute to the illumination of global landmarks around the world”.

In addition to the illumination of Burj Al Arab to mark the start of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Jumeirah Beach Hotel colleagues will be selling pink ribbons to their guests in several restaurants and the generated revenue will be used to support the October 2002 Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
