Boykin Lodging Company (NYSE: BOY), a multitenant hotel real estate investment trust with a portfolio of 31 full-service hotels, today announced the appointment of Russ Valentine as a Senior Vice President of Acquisitions.
Prior to joining Boykin Lodging, Mr. Valentine served as Senior Vice President of Acquisitions for American General Hospitality, a REIT that was based in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Valentine played a significant role in American General`s successful acquisition program from 1990 to 1998. Over the past 25 years, Mr. Valentine has worked for major consulting, investment banking, and hotel organizations. He received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and his MBA in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management from Michigan State University.
