Lynn Hayes O’Neill is the new managing director of Worldwide Advertising for Best Western International in Phoenix, Ariz. In her new position, she will be responsible for advertising, brand identity, creative services and publications. One of her primary responsibilities will be to further develop the “World’s Largest Hotel Chain” campaign launched in May of this year.
Hayes comes to Best Western International from Hayes Partners where she owned and operated the company specializing in marketing, promotions and public relations. Some of her more recognized clients included the Phoenix Zoo, Hilton Hotels, Arizona Office of Tourism and Uniglobe Travel. She was also recruited by the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Travel and Tourism Department where she was responsible for advertising, promotions and marketing.
Hayes’s career began with Best Western in the 1980s when she first worked with the brand in the Corporate Communications department. She then took a position with Choice Hotels where she served as director of Marketing Programs, vice president of Corporate Relations and vice president of International Marketing.
