Choice Offers “Get Together Sweepstakes”

In a promotional alignment with the nation`s renewed focus on the value of friends and family, Choice Hotels International (NYSE:CHH) introduces the Get Together Sweepstakes, awarding a grand prize winner a trip for ten family members and friends to any Choice brand hotel location of their choosing within the continental U.S.

The Get Together Sweepstakes grand prize includes airfare, accommodations for four nights, and $500 in spending money per person. Additionally, ten first prize winners will receive digital cameras to record their own friends and family occasions.

A new television commercial, to air on national cable networks such as CNN, MSNBC, The Discovery Channel and The Weather Channel beginning September 16, touts the Get Together Sweepstakes and reinforces the national sentiment that inspired it. The commercial features images of a family traveling together by car, sightseeing, sharing bedtime stories in a hotel room, taking a dip in a hotel pool - images immediately familiar to anyone who has traveled with family and friends.

” `The theme of the commercial, as stated in the voiceover, is that `the farther you get from home, the closer you get to the people who live there,`” said Wielgus. He added that the new ad also incorporates Choice Hotels` overarching campaign message, “The Power of Being There. Go.”

The television commercial advertises the sweepstake`s availability at Choice`s Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality, Clarion, Sleep Inn, and MainStay Suites brands. A separate radio campaign, featuring the voice of Barry Corbin and airing on national radio networks such as Westwood One and the ABC Radio Network, advertises the sweepstake`s availability at Choice`s Econo Lodge and Rodeway Inn brands.
