Kempinski Raises Money for Flood Victims

Kempinski Hotels & Resorts is raising money for victims of the recent Dresden flood by entering a team of fifteen employees - including two General Managers - to run the Berlin Marathon on Sunday, September 29th.

Employees will race to the finish outside Europe’s largest department store - KaDeWe - after passing both of Kempinski’s Berlin hotels, Hotel Adlon next to the Brandenburg Gate and the Kempinski Hotel Bristol on the Ku’Damm.
A band will play in front of the Adlon to support runners while a big banner will hang over its main entrance, naming the Kempinski team individually. The team comprises representatives from hotels in Munich, Frankfurt, Berlin, Istanbul, Estepona, Gozo, Budapest and Beijing, with expected finish times ranging between 3 hours 50 minutes and ten hours!

Hotel Adlon will host the world’s media during the event with a ‘press suite’ offering balcony views of the runners and five star hospitality during the race.

Kempinski Hotels & Resorts` prestigious portfolio comprises over 30 luxurious properties in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, South America, Asia and Australia. Each offers superior standards of service combined with a distinctive style, which reflects the individuality of the location.
